False hope

Tell me if I passed the test

We get so weak with blindfolds on

Worse when we wear a mask

Still we hold on so strong

They took me by my hand

And I was so surprised

Wish you could hear me scream

Yes, I fell so deep

.

Heavier I felt my bones

Holy for so, so long

They watched me disappear

Will I reach you if I ever get out of here?

.

Cold it felt just to breath

Blood running through my teeth

They were counting up the bones

And right then I saw

I was not the only one

.

Will they ever bring you here?

I feel I’ll never see you again

And it seems so strange

Are you one of them?

.

Is that the reason I cannot breathe?

Are you a poison I could not taste?

Why would you let me live?

You broke every promise we ever made
