Counting demons

Of you and me

There’s nothing left but sparks

I thought we could rule the world

But that was just because I wanted

A better place to live

No more fear, no more blood

When I could finally forget my scars

And treat yours

Instead we are counting demons

And I’m sure yours are not bigger

Than mine
